Comments

This website does not have a public comment board. When you send a message through the Contact form, we collect the data shown in that form (name, email, optional +91 mobile, topic and message), and the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent string, to help detect spam and abuse.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) is not sent to Gravatar. We do not display a public profile picture next to Contact messages.

Media

Visitors cannot upload images to this website. If you email a screenshot to support, avoid sending pictures that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Anyone who receives that file can download it and extract any location data from the image.

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we may set a temporary cookie to see whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close the browser.

When you log in, we set cookies to save your login state and display options. Login cookies last two days. If you tick “Remember password”, login can persist for two weeks on that device. If you log out, login cookies are removed.

These cookies are for the IN999 login and register desk only. We do not set advertising cookies on this website.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email.

We do not sell visitor lists. We may share data with the hosting provider that serves this website, and with email delivery used for support, only as needed to run the site and answer your message. We share data if Indian law requires it.

How long we retain your data

If you send a Contact message, that message and its metadata are kept so we can recognise a follow-up without treating it as a new unknown sender. We do not keep it longer than needed to handle the request and any related security check.

For users who register on IN999 (if you create an account), we also store the personal information they provide in the user profile: mobile number and/or email, and a hashed password. Users can ask us to view, correct or delete their personal information (the registered mobile or email used as the login name cannot be freely renamed to someone else’s number). Website administrators can also see and edit that information where needed to run the account.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have sent a Contact message, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor messages may be checked through automated spam detection. Account login and register data is processed to operate IN999 Game for users in India. Hosting and mail systems used to run in999-official.com may store copies of that traffic.
